The ‘Notifications’ section on the Pitch N Hire dashboard is a dedicated space for managing and reviewing all the alerts and updates related to your account activities. Located right beside the ‘Reports’ tab at the top of the dashboard, this section allows you to view your notifications in greater detail and ensures you stay informed about important events and actions.
When you click on the 'Notifications' tab, it essentially expands upon the minimized notification bar that is visible on the right side of the ‘Overview’ page. This expanded view offers a comprehensive look at all your recent notifications, providing you with a clear and organized way to review any updates or alerts that may require your attention.
In this section, you can see a list of your notifications, each accompanied by key details:
- Timeframe: Each notification is marked with a timestamp or an indication of how long ago it was received. This helps you quickly identify when the notification was generated, allowing you to prioritize your responses based on the recency of the alerts.
- Sender Information: Alongside the timestamp, you will also see the sender of the notification. This could be the system itself, a team member, or another relevant source within the platform. Knowing who sent the notification or what type of notification was sent helps you understand the context and relevance of the alert.
If you receive a notification regarding a new job application, simply clicking on it will allow you to view every detail of the said application, including the applicant’s biographical information, resume, and more. You can get to modifying the application, request more data from the applicant, or move it to different stages right from the same screen.
Each notification includes a three-dot menu on the right side. If you have already reviewed the content of a notification and no longer need to keep it highlighted, you can click on the three-dot menu and select ‘Mark as Read.’ This action will move the notification to a read state, helping you keep your notification list organized.
The ‘Notifications’ section is designed to be a straightforward tool for keeping track of all the updates and actions that are important to your recruitment process. Regularly checking this section and managing your notifications effectively can ensure you’re always in the loop and able to respond promptly to any changes or alerts within the platform.
