Build a New Job Posting

To create a new job posting in Pitch N Hire, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the left-hand sidebar of your dashboard and click on ‘Job Posting’. This will take you to the main job posting page, displaying a list of your existing job postings.
  • Click on the ‘+ New Job’ button located on the left-hand side of the page, below the tabs for ‘Published,’ ‘Draft,’ and ‘Archived.’ This action will trigger a pop-up window presenting three job creation methods.
  • Select one of the following options to create your job posting:
  • Manually: Create a job posting from scratch by inputting all job details manually.
  • Generate with AI: Utilize AI-powered suggestions to generate a job description based on the job title and selected industry.
  • Select from Active Requisition: Convert an existing job requisition into a job posting, pre-filling most of the job details.

Once you’ve selected your preferred method, you’ll be guided through the specific steps involved in creating your job posting.

Navigating to Different Sections

The navigation interface within the Pitch N Hire ATS is designed for ease of use and efficiency, allowing users to move seamlessly between different sections of the job creation and application process.

  • Left-Hand Panel Navigation:

The left-hand panel in Pitch N Hire serves as your main navigation bar. Here, you’ll find a list of different modules and sections of the ATS, each labeled for quick access. For example, you can click on ‘Application Form’ to view and edit application questions.

  • In-Page Navigation Arrows:

Apart from the left-hand panel, Pitch N Hire also includes in-page navigation arrows at the bottom of each section. The arrow pointing left with the label ‘Job Details,’ for example, allows users to go back to the previously completed section. This is particularly useful if you need to revisit and perhaps revise any details you’ve entered before proceeding with the next steps.

Conversely, the arrow pointing right labeled ‘Stages,’ for example, allows you to move forward to the next phase of the job setup once you’ve completed the current section. This is part of a linear progression designed to help users follow a structured workflow when creating or editing job postings.

These navigational arrows are contextual; they change depending on which section of the job posting process you are currently in. They are designed to guide users through a logical sequence of steps, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and that each step is completed in order.

This dual navigation system (using both the left-hand panel and in-page arrows) offers convenience and flexibility. Users who prefer to go through the job setup process step by step can follow the arrows for a guided experience, while those who want to jump to a specific section can use the left-hand panel to navigate directly there.
